It was enough to make me wonder, “If living for God was in vain?”
And my foot almost slipped
because my mind was on the storm and the rain
But when I went into the sanctuary
God began to deal with me
I remembered that the wicked were on borrowed time,
and that their end would come suddenly
So I realized how foolish I’d been
to be envious of evil men
So I’ll never turn back, because . . .
